Portugal celebrated their UEFA Nations League win with hundreds of tthousands of fans in victory parade in Porto after defeating the Netherlands team in the finale.

Christiano Ronaldo, teammates and the entire crew, celebrated their second international success in three years. Valencia striker Goncalo Guedes scored the only goal of the match that gave the Portuguese side a hard-earned victory over the Netherlands.

C. Ronaldo addressed the crowd while they were at Porto’s city hall before manager Fernando Santos also addressed the fans. Fans were seen climbing on street lights and statues to get the best view as they paid tribute to their heroes.

Ronaldo said after the win against the Dutch side, he is proud of the strides his country has made in recent years, adding: “Since 2016 Portugal has changed their history and won a trophy again. “The goal for this match was to win and to play well.”

I must admit, we at Plaza are also happy for him 🙂
